Bridal Basques for your Wedding Day

There are lots of bridal basques available on the market, so I have done a lot of research to try and find something really special. These basques are not from the "mainstream" lingerie brands and come from smaller more specialist companies.  

The Benmark range of basques is very popular in the US and gives a fantastic shape. It comes from a manufacturer that specialises in Bridal Wear.  My other range comes from Silhouette, who are a small company in Manchester - not too far from where I live.  I have used both companies for years, and their products are of the highest quality. 

For most brides I would recommend a "Torsolette" style basque.  These are slightly longer in the body than many basques.  I feel these are more comfortable, and the shaping continues all the way down to the hips.  This gives a lovely silhouette all the way down your torso, and will give you the shape, feel, and look  you are trying to achieve.  

Of all my basques, I would really highly recommend the "Embroidered Basque".  The vast majority of my customers who have tried this basque next to the others, have ended up buying it. 

The only exceptions to this recommendation are if you are looking for a low backed basque to go with a low backed wedding dress or you need a larger cup sized basque.

Low Back Basques

In this case I would recommend one of my shorter, low backed basques. They do not come down over your hips, but they do have a far lower back than the torsolettes (please see the images of each basque as I have included rear photos as well).  I also sell a couple of extremely low back bustiers - there are not many products on the market that provide this level of support with such an amazingly low back.

Large Cup Bridal Basques

The torsolettes only go up to a UK E cup.  To cater for the bride with a larger bust I have selected  some basques from Panache and Masquerade.  These are specially designed to provide great shape and support, but still look great.  Size wise they go all the way up to a 38H.

Sizing

These basques "fit true", so just order your correct size, and it will give you a lovely shape.  Don't order a back size too small, thinking it will pull you in a bit more - as it will just be too small for you.  If you are in doubt, try my size calculator (there is a link on the left hand side of each page) or just give me a call on the number at the top of each page.
